Belmar team at Dreamforce San Francisco

October 5, 2023

Our Belmar team is back from Dreamforce and excited to share their experience! Held by Salesforce, Dreamforce is the largest AI event of the year with over 40,000 in-person attendees. The 3-day conference was packed with innovation, inspiration, and fun. With over 1,400 sessions, our team gained insight into how the power of Data + AI + CRM can transform your business. Let’s get started!

Introducing the Einstein 1 Platform

The Einstein 1 Platform, built on Salesforce’s framework features major advancements for Salesforce Data Cloud and Einstein AI capabilities. The Einstein 1 Platform will allow users to connect data to create customer profiles and integrate AI, automation, and analytics into the customer experience.

Accompanying Einstein 1 is Einstein Copilot - a conversational AI assistant integrated into the Salesforce platform's side panel. Einstein Copilot aims to boost productivity by understanding the user actions and offering recommendations on next steps to take, such as providing an action plan after each sales call.

“Now, with Data Cloud and Einstein AI native on the Einstein 1 Platform, companies can easily create AI-powered apps and workflows that supercharge productivity, reduce costs, and deliver amazing customer experiences.”

- Parker Harris, Co-Founder and CTO, Salesforce

Main Takeaways From Nonprofit Keynote

A critical step in leveraging the use of AI is to make sure that your data is connected and usable. This nonprofit keynote focused on “Empowering Nonprofits in Times of Change”, and understanding how outcomes can lead to impact.

Introducing Einstein for Nonprofit Cloud, featuring Generative AI, built for nonprofits. Personalized Gift Proposals can easily be created, allowing you to save time by creating the first draft of your gift proposal with ease. Program Impact Reports will enable you to aggregate all of your program data into a report to share with your stakeholders. Both features will be available as a pilot starting February 2024.

With Nonprofit Cloud Fundraising, you will now be able to better nurture authentic relationships, empower data-driven fundraising, and boost efficiency and productivity. Nonprofit Cloud Outcome Management also enables you to track all your outcomes, create assessments and act on your impact strategy in one central place. With this end-to-end solution, you can easily share the results with your stakeholders in a timely manner.

Many nonprofit speakers also shared that their teams are shifting away from tracking the traditional cost-per-dollar metric in favour of focusing on lifetime donor value. The innovative solutions above above make it easier for organizations to manage donor data and be nimble in tracking and sharing the metrics that matter most to your stakeholders and strategy.

Main Takeaways From Public Sector Keynote

AI and automation are only as good as the data that you feed into it. This Public Sector Keynote focuses on “The Future of Government”, and how to build a strong foundation for success.

Salesforce Data Cloud allows you to better understand where your data is coming from, who is going to need it, and help you identify patterns and trends. When you have actionable data, you prioritize the reliability of your information, allowing you to build trust with your stakeholders. You can also automate any repetitive tasks, which will allow you to focus more on what matters most.

Provider Management is a new tool that will help you effectively build and onboard service providers into your provider network, efficiently search and assign the best providers to your constituents, and seamlessly manage their services with case workers in an end-to-end service.
