This is a new position and the right person will play a key role in
the future growth of our organization. The job requirements include
quota attainment, full responsibility for the sales cycle, development
of industry contacts, being a team player who thrives in an
entrepreneurial environment, and to act as liaison with corporate
management and vendor partners.

Fall Tune-up
With summer behind us it’s time to buckle up, put it in high gear and roar into fall.
We have compiled a short list of four easy to achieve "technology tune-ups"
you can implement as we get into September.
- Database Refresh
Is your customer database stale or out of date? Consider purging old data or
adding fresh data using a service like D & B or InfoCanada. If you’ve been
putting off cleaning up your database, don’t be afraid because the process really
is not that difficult. Take a few minutes to look at how you’re using your
database today and make a plan to fix the things that are not working.
- Data Backup
Are you 100% confident that your backups are working? If you’re not then now is the time
to fix it before you loose it. For as little as a few hundred dollars you can
confidently know that your vital company data is being backed up.
- Newsletters
Are you consistently communicating with your customers? If you’re struggling to get
newsletters out on a regular basis, try using a tool like Swiftpage that integrates
with ACT!, Outlook or Excel. If you need help writing your newsletters, there are
numerous sources that will provide this as a service. Start communicating with
your customers today!
- Email Signatures
Is your email signature part of your corporate brand? I scratch my head when I see
different signature templates coming out of the same company, each communicating
a different message. Everything you do promotes your brand so why not use
email to reinforce your corporate image and messaging. Standardizing
