June 30, 2008 marks the end of a seven year reign for Microsoft Windows XP. Starting July 1, 2008 new computers will only be available with Microsoft Vista.

The logical question is - How does this impact your business? Consider the following four questions:
• Will your existing programs run on Microsoft Vista?
• Are there Microsoft Vista compatible upgrades available for your existing programs?
• Should you purchase new computers while you can still purchase Windows XP?
• What version of Vista should I choose?

While most software vendors have released updates for Microsoft Vista, we understand that many of our customers are running older applications. It’s very important that you consider these questions, and if necessary, replace older computers before the end of June.

For our ACT! customers running version 2007, 2006, 2005, 6.0 or 2000 you need to be aware that the only version of ACT! supporting Microsoft Vista is ACT! 2008. Please consider the impact to your business if you are forced to upgrade all your ACT! licenses just to accommodate a single Vista machine.

For our SageCRM customers using either on-premise or SageCRM.com, both applications provide full support for Vista.

Click here for more information on which version of Vista is right for you. You should be aware that Microsoft Vista is available in both 32 and 64 Bit. For ACT! customers you need to be aware that ACT! will only support the 32 bit operating system.
